An unexpected find in Coleford this evening. Whilst I was watching a family group of 6 Spotted Flycatchers a Pied Flycatcher dropped down in front of me. The PF was then watched for 15+ minutes as it mingled with the SFs before it flew low behind a hedge and didn’t show for the remaining 35 mins I was there. Several Juv Green Woodpeckers were also present but on this occasion I didn’t pay them much attention.
