Today from the picnic table in the car park at 11am we saw 2 Cranes flying north east .
Also had some close views of Cetti’s Warbler from same spot.
Usual Marsh Harrier and GWE . Sedge Warblers singing
Dabchick seen close up from main hide struggling to eat a fish.
Otherwise generally quiet.
No Hirundines seen whilst on Reserve

Cuckoo seen calling from an Ash tree about 100 meters before the far viewing screen at Greylake. It then flew into trees beyond the viewing screen before heading West. Also 3 Great White Egrets, 1 Little Grebe, 1 Curlew and 2 Cetti’s Warblers seen with others heard. Scanning South across the road from the car park I picked up 2 Cranes and a Marsh Harrier.
