I failed in my mission to find a Wheatear this morning but heard my first Skyarks of the Spring on the North East side of the moor.
Lots of Pheasant activity early doors.  Plenty of Tits , Wren,  Blackbirds,  Robins &  Dunnocks singing. 7   single Buzzards - flying or loafing about on posts etc.
4 pairs of Stonechat
2 Green Sandpipers
2 Stock Doves
A few Herring & Lesser Black Back Gulls
Still a few Teal in the waterways.
