200+ Brambling: East Nynehead

Found a flock of about a 100 Bramblings in the trees and overhead electricity cables. They were in the field with the trees in the middle and the house in the top left corner.
Thank you Gareth for the heads up this is the 1st time I have seen a brambling.

No problem Stuart, I was there for a good while yesterday afternoon.
The point I identified is roughly where footpaths/field corners meet. The birds spent time in all four of those fields during the hour or two I was around.

I think I’m getting warm I’m in the field with all the stubble and the river tone is to my right I’m heading in the direction of the rail crossing

Thank you for your post and help with the location of this flock of Bramblings. I may take a run over this morning and see if I can get my 1st spot of this stunning bird.
Hopefully I can find them ok I know the area reasonably well.
