Highlights of the SOS field meeting this morning:  at least five Goosander, one drake Goldeneye, 2 two pairs of Pintail on 70 acres. Great Crested Grebes displaying , Little Grebe, two Marsh Harriers , one displaying. Great White Egret,  Water Rail, Snipe, Redwing, Cettis Warbler . No Bittern seen today but I had two flight views yesterday and there are still some Brambling with the Chaffinch flock along the road near the reserve.
