Did a walk around the north of the Quantocks today and saw:

Frog Hill/Combe: 3 Tree Pipit, 1 Redstart heard, 2 Pied Flycatcher heard, 1 Cuckoo seen calling, 1 Whitethroat, 1 Stonechat and 3 Willow Warbler.

Somerton/Hodder’s Combes: Just 1 Wood Warbler seen and possibly 1 more heard. Also 2 Redstart heard, 6 Pied Flycatcher, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Goldcrest, 2 Nuthatch, 1 Buzzard over and a Cuckoo heard high up.

Holford Combe: 3-4 Wood Warbler, 4 Pied Flycatcher, 1 Garden Warbler, 1 Cuckoo heard, 1 Jay, 2 Grey Wagtail and a Spotted Flycatcher.

Dead Woman’s Ditch area: 2 Willow Warbler and a female Redstart seen.

Wood Warbler numbers definitely seem down on recent years and there were also no Spotted Flycatchers, unusually, in Hodder’s/Somerton Combes. Although the Spotted Flycatcher I found in Holford Combe was the first I’ve known there.
