An entirely off the cuff osprey and a redstart were highlights from our visit yesterday afternoon (11/04/21). Both birds seen from the western side of the Tower Hide pool. Osprey flying over and redstart in the bushes on the NW edge of the pool.

Also all the usual stuff about, including: willow warbler, blackcap, possible garden warbler, Cetti’s warbler, marsh harrier, pintail, shoveler, teal, wigeon, mallard, gadwall, coot, mute swan, greylag goose, cormorant; little and great egrets.
