Total of 3362 Wigeon on Shapwick Heath yesterday and a very good count of 259 Shoveler and 35 Pintail. The full count will be on the BTO WeBS page shortly.

As I am only a mile from Shapwick, I carried out most of the WeBS this morning. I will only know the number of Wigeon when I have counted them on my computer from pictures but the star turn this morning were 3 Egyptian Geese that flew across Meare Heath at around 9.30.
