Yesterday whilst exercising around Somerton we noticed an increase in Redwings on fields near Sutton Road Railway Bridge and beside old Radio station. Smaller number of fieldfares.

Also noted a large flock of Linnets feeding, 1 or 2 kestrels,

This morning we have been pleased to see a male blackcap return to our town garden and compete with starlings to peck at fat balls.
