in excess of 50 Fieldfare late afternoon at Blackmoor reserve , in the copse just beyond the pools

On 15th a large movement of thrushes at Dunster beach, between 0815 - 1115 , c 2800 Redwings, 470 Fieldfares plus 1300 Chaffinches flew east, also 2 Great White Egrets on the beach.

Just one Fieldfare over Shapwick Moor this afternoon.

I saw my first flock of Fieldfares (only around 12) flying north east over Lilstock yesterday. I have not seen any on the levels yet.

Big movement of redwings (c.1,500), fieldfares (c. 200) and chaffinches (c.200) past the Tower Hide this morning c. 09.00 - all heading NE and not appearing to make any change in direction once they had crossed the river by Burnham.

Also a Great White Egret in close just below the hide.
