An early visit to Berrow beach today to coincide with high tide and to beat the dog walkers. Three Common Gulls were on the tideline just below the golf course together with Shelduck and Curlew. 3 Black headed Gulls further to the north but also just offshore while a nice flock of around 90 Sanderling in various plumages including almost full summer were accompanied by just one Dunlin as they fed along the tideline. Quite a few Swallows were hawking along the beach. By 7.00 the dog walkers had cleared everything away apart from Herring Gulls and Crows as usual.
