Had unplanned adventure this afternoon up the side of Batts Combe Quarry to Cheddar Cliffs, and then back down the Gorge walk. Birds of note: willow warbler, whitethroat, pair of stonechats, singing male bullfinch, pair of ravens displaying, two buzzards, swallow, housemartins and the first swift I’ve seen since the rain.
