last couple of days on the moor still quite 2 cuckoo one calling in devon and one above dunster today 2 redstarts 3 wheatears nice few willow warblers and chiffcaffs plenty of wrens and robins blue tits are still building   and the oak trees are coming into leaf will they miss the boat again/time will tell.  this morning at dunster beach a few swallows a2aroundndl sandmartins and 5 yellow wagtails 1 with a grey head but they flew east after only a few mins the 1 that got away an d in dunster the local little owl was showing well.and in porlock the house martins and swallows that turn up last week have gone I see more in the hill country that is swallows and reguarding dippers I have check servals nest sites no birds no nests with the hill country very quite and good weather in april for Exmoor you would expect them to have a good season but there are not the birds there use to be time will tell
