Over the past couple of months, I’ve also seen a couple of Dartford Warblers on the west Quantocks (near Beacon Hill) so agree wet, wild winter may be helping with spread
in porlck this morning a female black redstart .and in the last 3 days small groups of woodpigeons heading east .and on Exmoor a pair of Dartford warblers in a area not seen for years so hopefully a the wet mild winter may help them also up to now no burning has taked place but on Exmoor that does not mean a thing
