A Drake Ring-necked Duck at Wimbleball Lake around the Bessom Bridge area at 16.20 this afternoon with 7 Tufted Duck frequenting around the Hide and viewable areas from the bridge. Also this evening from the sailing club end the wintering Common Sandpiper hanging out with 13 Coot plus 22 Goosander, Gulls coming into roost are very low now so it looks a if perhaps another winter has failed to turn up any white wingers though I will keep checking for several more weeks yet.
