Very rewarding birding around Somerset Sunday 19th Smew at Chard Res on west side ,the 2 Bewicks swan on the floods from Yeo river bridge 5 Whoopers swan on Curry Moor from Newbridge , American Wigeon from Noah’s hide Shapwick also Marsh Harrier there . Brief views of Bittern at Ham Wall and finished up with 21 Cattle Egret in the egret field along the Burtle road
