12/01 Highlights from the monthly co-ordinated WeBS count for Bridgwater Bay NNR and WWT Steart Marshes.  A probable County record of 87 Brent Geese on the coast between Wall Common and Hinkley Point - 71 Light-bellied Brents (breeding grounds Greenland and Canadian Arctic) and 16 Dark-bellied Brents (breeding grounds Arctic Russia) and in the Parrett Estuary a flock of 400 Avocets.
