My garden feeders here in Butleigh have been really quiet for the past few weeks. This afternoon a mixed flock of c60 finches dropped in, mostly greenfinch and chaffinch but a few goldfinch and at least one siskin.
Single male blackcap continues to enjoy the windfall apples that I have impaled on my plum tree.

Today the feeders in my garden have come alive ,pair of blackcaps (new today) a pair of bullfinches, 8 x greenfinches, 14 x goldfinches, 6 x chaffinches,blue tit, great tit,long tailed tit,nuthatch,coal tit, great spot(F),green woodpecker ,& 2 X crows which are unusual in our garden.
