Today, whilst on the phone to my colleague, Paul Rowntree, who was on the Huntspill Sea Wall he promptly hung up with an expletive as a Grey Phalarope was pottering about in a puddle a couple of metres away. It promptly flew off and 5 minutes later I had probably the same bird flying north west over Fenning Island.
