A very cold and breezy NNE wind off Hurlstone pt this morning saw a good movement of Common Scoter heading East up the channel one flock first estimated at Ca 70 birds later revealed to be nearer 90 birds from a record photo I managed to take so an overall conservative count of 160+ birds were recorded the majority landing on the sea well east of the Point,apart from the Scoter little else passed by from 7.25-9.30 am
