What appeared to be half a dozen Tree Pipit [and checked with the vocal recording on RSPB , more this than the Meadow Pipit some 50 metres from the gate]  3 Stonechat, several Chaffinch a Kestrel [quick flight from its perch ] and then on return walk was hovering over something in the slag area/demolished buildings , 3 Swallow and 2 House Martin,  couple of Chiffchaff calling
