Slowly walked, stopping and listening every 35m or so, along the Strawberry Line from the Sharpham Road end until reaching where Holwell Lane crosses it and then left along the pathway until reaching the Res. Then slowly retraced my steps, but no sight or sound of a Redstart. I did have a short view of a Spot Fly that sallied out 3 times, fly-catching, from mature trees that lay back from the Hollwell Lane pathway on the right just before it reaches the Res.
