Spotted redshank still there with redshanks and common sandpiper at 3.30 today. At least 6 whimbrel further up the estuary towards the Brue. No wheatears today either, but I (unwittingly) flushed a nightingale from by the path at the sluice crossing to deep in a bush inside the chemical pools area. Also my first reed warbler of the year singing alongside the Huntspill further inland.

Spotted Redshank about 1/2-way into summer plumage at the Huntspill Sluice mid-afternoon. Also 2 Whimbrel flew past the Huntspill Seawall, where 1 White Wagtail, but no sign of a Wheatear.
