The following are highlights from the coordinated WeBS Count on and around the NNR and WWT reserves 24th March:-
Red Kite over Wall Common and 8 Little Ringed Plover, 60+ Avocets, 2 Garganey, !00+ Shovelor on Otterhampton Marsh.
Stockland Marsh held one remaining Spoonbill and 42 Black-tailed Godwit.
On the coast between Wall Common and Hinkley, 2 Common Scoter, 14 Light-bellied Brents, 3 Purple Sandpiper roosting on the inlet structure and Gannet at sea.
