Great views of a male Merlin this morning at Higher Dumbledeer, Withycombe Hill, ST001411. It flew fast and low straight towards me and then directly overhead before having a go at a couple of finches. Also in the general area 26 Stock Doves, and lots of Yellowhammers, a few Crossbills at Black Hill, and one Snipe and one Woodcock Rodhuish Common.
