A Merlin appeared for a short while (3 mins max) early afternoon on the stockcade at the back of the Catcott reserve,  Very distant, stripey front possibly juv or female, first I’ve seen here this year, (there were two about here in the Autumn). Around 100 Golden Plover were also happily here until a large female Peregrine decided to move from a pylon where it had been sitting for an hour onto the stockade.
