Thank you Diana.
Hi Hugh, we saw it yesterday (26th) in a field with several little egrets .
Hi
Does anyone know if the Glossy Ibis has been seen since the 23rd please?
Thanks
Hugh
Seen this morning approx midway between Stathe and Oath in the company of 13 little egrets.
Glossy Ibis in a flooded field between road and river with 27 Little Egrets and 1 Great Egret, view from the Stathe to Burrowbridge Road and just northwest of Stathe. Interesting to watch the feeding skills, the large worms must have been too deep for the Egrets as it was the Ibis pulling up the worms only to be mugged by a nearby Egret.
Glossy Ibis seen near Oathe in the company of approx 15 little Egret this afternoon. No sign of whooper Swans but 4 white geese seem to have taken their place.
8-Dec-2018
Still present this late-morning, but no sign of any Whooper Swans.
Glossy ibis joined by 5 Whooper swans. 6 crane flew over at 4pm.
A Glossy Ibis was feeding at the elevated pool across the Parrett from the road between Stathe and Oath at 10.15. Considered to be a first year.
