Opposite Greylake Reserve, on King’s Sedge Moor: a flock of 300+ Golden Plover with Lapwings.

At Greylake today… 1 water pipit on scrape in front of hide, 1 juv. dunlin, 3 cattle egrets amongst cattle on pasture, bearded tits very vocal in the reed bed plus a male merlin seen on 15/11 Thursday, perched on a gate post on the levels across the road opposite the car park. Two calling water pipits were also seen on Thursday, in flight but flew off to distant locations.
