Relocated from the Quantock View Hide at about 10:40 and distantly watched on far bank edge near 6 roosting Greenshanks; after 10 mins-or-so it flew and was lost behind long grass, looking almost straight out towards the large barns. No further sign up to 11:30 when we left.

Was lucky enough to arrive at the hide just after Dave and Paul found the Pec. Out near the breach were 5 Whinchat, 3 Wheatear, 1 Ruff and 1 Green Sand. M&F Marsh Harrier also seen.

Incidentally, have been checking Ham Wall regularly for Garganey in recent weeks with no luck. Looks like this autumn may be poor for them there just like last year.
