There were 7 Yellow Wagtail’s amongst a tightly packed herd of cows at Tealham Moor. I tried hard to get a decent photo of them on the ground in-between the cow’s legs. I almost gave up. I happened to turn around and there were 2 more of them on the gate post and gate directly behind me….I was just lucky to get these shots!.

I happened to see another flock of 9 yellow wagtails on Totney Drove by the bridge just before the bend again with the cows but further out. It could of well been the same flock I saw previously but cannot confirm.

This afternoon around 3pm at least 30 probably more yellow wagtails seen from Jacks Drove with the cows in the field immediately south of the North Drain. Also at least six cattle egrets with the cows and maybe 20 more but distant in flight. Plus a male marsh harrier
