A great white egret at Rodden Reserve Saturday evening 4th August.  Also, in central Frome, a sparrowhawk fledged on Monday 23rd July (late?) and has been noisy when being fed, till Friday evening, since when it has become more mobile.  So that’s 12 days flying around in the trees nearby, dependent on its parents feeding it.
