An hour on the (once again) damaged bridge over the River Brue at Baltonsborough this afternoon produced 2 Kingfishers, Little Grebe, Reed Bunting, Great White Egret, Sparrowhawk, Heron, 3 Buzzard, at least 8 Wrens and 20+ Goldfinch. On the walk back to Butleigh a Tawny Owl in one of the oaks about 200m from the bridge. Good size chub and perch under the bridge.
