That’s a regular spot this winter. Had one hedge hoping there last week. Tonight one flew over me between martock and long load.
Can’t remember seeing as many on my commute for years.

Another Barn Owl this evening just south of High Ham, between the village and the rifle range.

Been a good couple of days for seeing Barn Owls: 2 over West Sedgemoor late afternoon on 27th, viewed from the redbrick railway bridge, 1 over Wall Common at c.5pm on 28th, and one over the A358 at Horton Cross at c.8.30pm, also on 28th.

Followed one up the lane to Muchelney this evening. Seeing a couple semi regularly on the way home from work, between long load and muchelney, and Langport and high ham this winter.
