Still a large flock of Golden Plover, 800+, on King’s Sedge Moor, looking NW from Blind Man’s Gate Sluice on A361, with large flock of Lapwings but no sign of any Ruff. An equally large flock of Goldies on West Sedgemoor, looking out over it from the vantage point on Red Hill; I was searching for a Hen Harrier - one of many failed searches so far - has anyone seen one in the County this year?

Large flock of c.1,000 Golden Plover wheeling in the sky with similar flock of Lapwings at Greylake RSPB this morning. Also 2 Marsh Harriers and adult Peregrine.
