On Meare Heath scrape this afternoon was a female Teal wearing a Lime Green Nasal saddle,  unfortunately because the bird was at the back of the ‘Srape’ all I could clearly make of the Black letters on the saddle was the letter E.  These birds are marked at the Loire and Seine Estuary (France).  If anyone manages to see it again, hopefully closer, they might get the full marking it’s worth looking for.
Four Garganey were also present comprising a pair,  plus 2 unattached but friendly Drakes!
