A walk around the combes and moor saw my 1st Redstart of the year several Wheatear and Stonechat but no sign of any Dartford Warblers a casualty of the adverse weather of snow ? also a Ravens nest which recently had chicks in today was found empty maybe due to the heavy continous rain or just predated,on a more upbeat note it was good to hear a number of Chiff chaff ,willow warbler and see an Adder enjoying the much deserved sunshine
