Cuts Rd. between Athelney and East Lyng has widespread flooding at present .Mainly Teal and Wigeon with lesser numbers of Pintail and Shoveler ,plus 2 adult Whooper Swans this morning ,one had a distinct rusty stained head .Also this morning a flock of 145 Black-tailed Godwits,many in partial summer plumage.Curry Moor also has widespread flooding ,with the river Tone spilling over,relatively few duck at present ,but numbers will presumably increase.2 Great White Egrets were near to the sluice .Both areas looking good for any newly arriving Garganey !
