Aware again that this isn’t a chat site but I guess this is about a lack of sightings…  That’s my exact experience too and I would ask the same question - never any birds in the tidal lagoon and it seems like a lot of effort has achieved very little - anyone closer to it have any insight to share?

The bits around it are great of course.

Your right it has been really quiet there this winter I don’t think it is a failure maybe the wildlife needs time to adjust to the changes Just a thought.

How can it be that the whole new tidal lagoon, what looks like several square miles in area, contained today hardly a single bird as far as the binoculars can see? Is this project considered a wildlife success?
