Walking by the River Frome by Rodden Reserve, 3 Redpolls with 2 siskin and ~15 Goldfinches were the first Redpolls I’ve seen for some years here.  About 12 years ago, I ringed 30 in my garden in one winter, but seem much scarcer these winters!
