A first for the SOS was a field Meeting Seawatch held at Minehead this morning with over 20 members attending in calm conditions the lack of birds was made up with quality
1 Black-throated Diver giving good long views sat on the sea with a Red-throated nearby for comparison

c 20+ Common Scoter with a large distant flock
1 Shelduck
9 Cormorant
2 Harbour porpoise
Afterwards a short trip up over North Hill was made where several Dartford warblers were seen
