After another quiet early seawatch off Hurlstone Pt with only a few Auks to show for it so i was more than pleased to see a Merlin pass around the headland ,2 Grey seal and 5 harbour Porpoise seen in the calm sea conditions
a vist to Chetsford water saw well over 200 Fieldfare down the combe feeding on the hawthorn berries plus 600+ Golden plover calling overhead
My first Autumn Goosander roost count from Wimbleball lake from the dam end
