It looked like a good day for Beardies and they didn’t disappoint. I saw them at several locations; between the car park and the first hide, from the Lake Hide, along London Drove, beside the path to North Hide and from the viewing platform past the Island Hide. I must have come across twenty or more,  Along London Drove one of several Long-tailed Tit flocks held a Goldcrest, a Treecreeper and a singing Chiffchaff.  As I approached Lake Hide I disturbed a pair of Kingfishers sitting on the edge of the adjacent fishing lake.
