The opening times are a s follows:

Parking:
The main car park is open all the time, but there is a 2.1m height restriction barrier daily after 4.30pm and before 9am and on Christmas Day. Steart Gate car park has a 2.1m height restriction at all times.

Hides and toilets:
Open 9am – 4.30pm every day except Christmas Day, with a few seasonal extensions to these times.  They are accessible for wheelchair users.  The screened viewing points are open all year round.

Hello all..

Could anyone please tell me what time the hides at Steart Marshes are unlocked.
I only ask because I paid another fairly regular visit last Fri morning arriving about 8.30 after a 45 min drive only to walk out to the main hides (Quantock View) etc, only find them shut. Needless to say I was less than happy as it wasn’t really early and promptly drove to another reserve.
