last year the nightjars had moved to a new location which was on the edge of the woods by the sharp right hand bend coming from the Hunter’s Lodge direction. dont know if they are there again this year. good luck

I’ve been trying to find nightjars at Stockhill Plantation.  Found a couple of likely looking clearings which I visited at dusk, but no luck.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to which part of the wood to head to?  I’ve seen nightjars in several places previously but never in Somerset.
