Around 6pm on the 20th the glossy ibis flew n after to the road. Unfortunately, you could not see it in the long grass but a farmer drove past with a noisy trailer and it spooked the Ibis and cattle egrets who flew off the reverse towards Catcott Village. It settled near cattle in the fields but was then spooked again by a farmer with a small vehicle. Luckily the glossy ibis flew back towards the reserve and dropped into a field with cattle egrets right by the road. Very lucky to see it only 50 metres from my car.
