You may know that one of the Mute Swans which attempted to breed on the Carymarsh pond this year had a Darvic ring on it’s right leg with DPH on. Could you tell me any history about this bird: gender, age, date and place of ringing, or from whom I could get this information?

As we become more familiar with the web site, I intend to include notable retraps and controls on the ringing page. Certainly, birds caught or ringed abroad will qualify.

It would be helpful if, when adding a ringing comment to the forum, that as much info as possible on these birds is included (as per the table). The site is still under development and so all suggestions are welcome and the administrators will try to oblige. 

There is of course no obligation to report.
