The RSPB has advised that the work will run over to Wednesday 14th. Part of the car park will be closed.
The RSPB has now posted the following update:
“The resurfacing works in the Ham Wall car park will be taking place on Tuesday 13th November. The majority of the car park, the toilets and the Welcome Building will be closed while these works are taking place. As parking will be extremely limited if possible please stay away from the reserve or park elsewhere on day the work takes place.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.”
Ham Wall has posted the following:
“Update: The resurfacing works in the Ham Wall car park due to this weeks weather will now be taking place next week. The most likely day is Tuesday 13 November.
We hope to confirm Friday (9 Nov) which day the car park will be closed.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.”
Somerset Birds Twitter mentions closure of the Ham Wall Car Park on Wednesday or Thursday this week for resurfacing (date to be confirmed tomorrow depending on weather). Could I please request that RSPB or SOS post further details of this on the bird sightings forum as well as Twitter when they have them. Thanks.
