From Natural England: Noah’s Hide on Shapwick Heath NNR is to be re-built, with a new, improved hide taking its place, providing a much improved facility for visitors. Due to the sensitive nature of the site we only have a small window of time when this work can take place with the wildlife present in this area being the prime issue being considered when carefully planning this work. Therefore, the footpath to Noah’s Hide and the Noah’s Hide area itself will be closed for this work to be undertaken from Monday 14th August until approximately the end of September.
