Hi Rob and Robin I have wondered the same thing and also tweeted out @somersetbirds several times whilst out in the field watching good Somerset birds, are there any plans
to transfer them straight over to the Somerset Twitter Page surely some of the 600 plus followers may be interested

Yes, Robin. The SOS intends to Tweet more. The account has over 500 followers who we hope will also Tweet regularly. It’s really up to our followers too!
Hi Rob, Are there plans to make more use of the Twitter feed as the last post prior the recent new website announcement was April 2014 ?
Many thanks, Robin
On the bottom left of the home page there are links to Twitter.
If you click on https://twitter.com/somersetbirds, you will see the Society’‘s Twitter home page and recent sightings. You do not need to have a Twitter account to access it.
Below it is the most recent posting. If you click on the blue “Follow” button to the right you will get a small window, where you can sign up for a Twitter account, which would allow you to post on Twitter.
