Its of sad news to hear that one of this years St Marys Magdalene Church Juvenile male Peregrine falcon Blue RY ringed was found dead in Tiznit,Morrocco after colliding with a vehicle, amazingly travelling a distance of 2435km some 1513 miles from its home town of Taunton. Such a sad end to a magnificent bird but goes to show the importance and advantages of ringing birds.

A juvenile male Peregrine Blue RY ringed at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Taunton this year has been found dead in Tiznit, Morocco,dispering 2435km! A probable first for a British bird to Morocco.
